EXPERIENCE MORE FREQUENT ORGASMS FOR BETTER MENTAL HEALTH: NEW STUDY SHOWS POSITIVE IMPACT ON STRESS RESILIENCE enIT FR DE PL TR PT RU AR CN ES

How does orgasm frequency interact with stress resilience?

The study investigated the relationship between sexual activity and stress levels in adults aged 18 to 49 years old, using data from the American Sexual Health Association's Annual Surveys from 2016 and 2017. It found that those who experienced more frequent orgasms had better mental health outcomes than those who did not. The researchers hypothesized that this was due to the release of oxytocin during orgasm, which has been linked to increased stress resilience.

The study looked at three key variables: frequency of orgasm, age, and gender. Orgasmic frequency was divided into four categories: never, monthly, weekly, and daily. Stress resilience was measured through self-reported questionnaires on topics such as depression, anxiety, and stress. Age and gender were also recorded for analysis.

The results showed a positive association between orgasm frequency and stress resilience. Those who reported having an orgasm every day or several times per week were less likely to experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other negative emotions compared to those who rarely or never achieved climax. This effect was particularly pronounced among women, who reported higher stress resilience even when controlling for other factors like income level and education.

There are still some limitations to this study. For one thing, it relied on self-reported data, so it is possible that respondents may have exaggerated their orgasm rates or minimized their stress levels.

The sample size was relatively small, with only around 5,0000 participants included in the final dataset. Future studies should aim to include larger samples and measure stress directly rather than relying on self-reports.

Despite these limitations, the findings suggest that regular sexual activity can be beneficial for mental health.

It's important to note that this is not a substitute for professional help if you're struggling with serious mental health issues like depression or anxiety. If you're experiencing prolonged periods of sadness, difficulty sleeping, or other signs of distress, please seek medical attention.

How does orgasm frequency interact with stress resilience?

Stress resilience is the ability to cope with and overcome adversity, trauma, and challenges that arise in life. It encompasses several factors, such as emotional regulation, mental flexibility, and self-control. The experience of an orgasm may increase one's level of stress resilience by providing a sense of relaxation, pleasure, and satisfaction.
