Some churches and temples have established affinity groups specifically designed for LGBTQ members or offer services tailored towards them during worship. This allows LGBTQ people to feel welcomed and included in the community without having to hide their true selves.

They may choose to seek out online resources such as blogs, podcasts, or social media accounts created by other queer-identifying believers, providing a safe space to discuss spirituality and share personal experiences.

Another strategy is to reconcile one's sexuality or gender with their faith by finding ways to interpret religious teachings in a way that aligns with modern views on sexual diversity. This could involve reinterpreting biblical passages about same-sex relationships or acknowledging that God loves all creations equally, regardless of their orientation. Some LGBTQ individuals also turn to non-traditional forms of spirituality like astrology, witchcraft, or paganism, which often have a more accepting attitude towards queerness.

Many LGBTQ people find solace in private prayer, meditation, or contemplation, turning to God directly rather than through organized religion. They may engage in daily devotional practices, reflect on scripture verses, or attend retreats focused on personal growth and self-discovery. Others draw inspiration from secular philosophies like humanism or atheism, emphasizing the power of individual agency and ethics over divine intervention.
