In 2005, Penthouse Media rebranded all their publications under one umbrella known as LFP Publishing Group (LFP). Under this new ownership structure, Gent became part of a group that included Maxim, Stuff, FHM, and Men's Health magazines. Each title had its own editorial team but shared themes and advertisers. Readers were encouraged to explore these companion titles for complementary content, such as sportswear or fitness equipment. This strategy helped increase circulation numbers while maintaining a consistent tone across each publication.

After LFP went bankrupt in 2016, Playboy Enterprises Inc. acquired Gent along with other former LFP titles. The new management team continued the tradition of cross-promotion by featuring models from Gent in articles about fashion trends or dating advice in other publications like Playboy or Blender. They also introduced new sister publications such as Sexy Glamour and Club International, both focused on female sexuality and intimacy. These titles further extended Gent's reach into global markets beyond traditional English-speaking countries.
