To understand this phenomenon, the study surveyed employees from various organizations across industries and occupations. The participants were asked questions about their perceptions of fairness, equity, and justice within the organization and whether they felt their workplace had addressed issues related to sexual harassment or discrimination.

The participants completed a questionnaire assessing their level of sexual attraction towards others and their perception of co-workers' attractiveness.

The results revealed that employees who reported higher levels of sexual attraction tended to perceive the organization as less fair, equitable, and just. They also felt that their workplace did not adequately address issues of sexual harassment and discrimination.

Employees who viewed co-workers as more attractive reported lower satisfaction with their organization's policies on these matters.

These findings suggest that sexual attraction and sexualized perception can negatively impact employee perceptions of organizational fairness, equity, and justice. Employees may perceive unfair treatment when they feel attracted to someone in the organization, leading them to question the organization's commitment to equality and inclusion. Similarly, employees who view other workers as more attractive may be more likely to experience negative feelings towards those individuals, which could influence their perception of fairness and justice.
