Some feminists argue that gender roles should be dismantled through changes in public policy, such as paid parental leave and universal childcare, to allow everyone to participate equally in family life regardless of gender. In contrast, LGBT activists may argue that marriage equality and protections for transgender individuals are essential components of liberation from the confines of rigid gender expectations. Limited Understanding of Inclusivity
