SEXUALITY HOW GENETICS AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS INFLUENCE PENILE SHAPE DURING ERECTIONS? RU EN ES

The Penile Shaft Can Curve Naturally Without Causing Problems As Long As It Doesn't Interfere With Function

Most people are born with a curved penis that is straightened out at birth. However, there may be some variation in length and girth of the penis due to genetic factors. This variation could lead to an erection curve when the penis is fully engorged. An erect curve may also occur if the penis has been surgically altered for various reasons such as enlargement or reconstruction after trauma. The most common type of curvature occurs when the head of the penis bends downward toward the abdomen during an erection. This condition is called Peyronie's disease, which can cause pain during intercourse, loss of erectile function, and emotional distress for both partners. Other types of curvatures include an upward bend towards the navel or an "S" shape where it curves back upon itself. In general, these conditions do not require treatment unless they interfere with sexual activity.

However, some men have a congenital disorder known as hypospadias where part or all of their urethra opens on the underside instead of at its tip - resulting in a distinctive shape to their genitals. Men who experience this issue often seek cosmetic surgery because they believe it makes them less masculine or attractive than others without this defect. But, studies show no difference between how well-endowed men perform sexually compared to those without hypospadias! So while having this condition does change one's appearance somewhat, it doesn't necessarily impede performance. Another condition that can affect penile curvature is priapism, which causes prolonged erections lasting more than four hours long. This can result in damage to tissue causing permanent deformity and/or impotence depending on severity and duration.

Treatment depends on several factors including age, health status, underlying psychological issues surrounding body image/sexual performance anxiety, etc., but generally involves corrective surgery followed by physical therapy for any associated side effects such as numbness or erectile dysfunction following procedure(s). Some people may opt for alternative treatments like vacuum devices (e.g., Viagra) or manual stretching exercises designed specifically for this purpose; however, success rates vary widely among individuals so consultation with specialists prior to committing is recommended beforehand. Ultimately though, there's no need for anyone to feel ashamed about their own unique anatomy; everyone deserves respect regardless of whether or not they choose medical intervention!
