Children are seen as blessings from God and bring joy into homes, thus encouraging couples to focus on raising them rather than themselves. Moreover, some religions prohibit contraception methods such as birth control pills because they go against natural laws ordained by Allah or other deities. Therefore, most families strive towards large families despite economic difficulties or personal preferences due to religious beliefs.
Although sexual satisfaction is essential in any relationship, its importance varies across cultures depending on social norms, societal values, and religious teachings. For religious marriages, reproduction tends to dominate the union since it reflects moral standards while pleasure remains secondary or even nonexistent in many cases.
