Data analysis revealed that passion intensity significantly correlated with commitment in women who reported high levels of passion intensity (r.564, p <.01), whereas no significant correlation was observed in those with low levels of passion intensity. The results suggest that passion intensity is positively associated with relationship commitment for some women but not others. Further research is needed to understand why this may be the case and whether it holds across different populations and contexts.
