MAYFAIR MAGAZINE PROVIDED BEHINDTHESCENES COVERAGE OF SEX, EROTICISM, INTIMACY & RELATIONSHIPS RU EN ES

Mayfair was an adult magazine that featured nude models for most of its history. In the early 1980s, it began including more stories on sex, sexuality, erotica, and relationships than ever before. One such story focused on behind-the-scenes coverage, which would provide readers with a glimpse into how their favorite models were photographed. This is important because the modeling industry can be very secretive and mysterious to outsiders. Mayfair offered a rare look at what really goes on behind closed doors.

One example of this type of coverage comes from a 1982 issue, featuring cover girl Lisa DeLeeuw. She recalled being asked by her agent to pose for some "artistic" photos of herself in various states of undress. The photo shoot took place in a studio with dim lighting and a low key mood; DeLeeuw said she had no idea what she was getting into until she arrived. Her experience was so unusual that she felt compelled to share it with the world through Mayfair's pages.

In another instance, Mayfair gave readers an inside look at a group photo session with four Playboy Playmates. The women were all dressed casually but attractively, each posing in front of a different backdrop or setting. Some shots included partial nudity while others were fully clothed. Readers got a sense of the camaraderie between these famous models as they joked around during breaks between takes. This article helped show that there is more to modeling than just posing naked.

These articles also allowed fans to connect with the models on a deeper level than usual. They learned about the models' personalities outside of their public personas and saw them interacting with one another off-camera. This provided insight into what makes them tick and why they chose careers as models in the first place.

Unfortunately, Mayfair ceased publication in 1985 after struggling financially due to increased competition from other adult magazines. However, its impact on popular culture cannot be denied - especially when it comes to changing how people viewed the art of modeling forever!
