In this essay, I will discuss these three key factors that are affected by sexualization in the workplace.

Communication Transparency

Transparent communication refers to the clarity and accuracy of messages sent between parties involved in a conversation. Studies have found that when two people communicate through text messages, they often experience difficulty understanding each other's intentions due to the lack of nonverbal cues like facial expressions, tone of voice, and body language. When someone feels uncomfortable around their coworker because they believe them to be attractive, it can create a barrier that prevents open communication from occurring naturally.

If an employee thinks their boss is sexually interested in them, they may feel pressured into avoiding certain topics during meetings or discussions out of fear of coming across too aggressively or inappropriately.

Some people may become self-conscious about how they speak or act around others who are perceived as having higher status than themselves which further hinders effective dialogue. All of these obstacles limit the ability to share information freely between colleagues leading to decreased productivity at work.
