HOW POLITICS HAS IMPACTED OUR FREEDOM, RELATIONSHIPS, AND SEXUALITY

Freedom is the ability to act without restraint or coercion from others. In today's world, it has become increasingly difficult for people to enjoy this sense of liberty because of the influence of politics. With everything that goes on around us being affected by the political sphere, even our own lives are no longer considered private. Our very existence becomes politicized, and we find ourselves living in a state of constant scrutiny and judgment.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has shown how intertwined health policies have become with politics. In many countries, governments are making decisions regarding public safety based on political agendas rather than scientific evidence. This has resulted in confusion and conflicting messages about what actions should be taken to contain the virus. The same applies to other aspects of life, such as education, economy, religion, and so forth. Everything seems to be subjected to political considerations, which leaves little room for freedom of expression, thought, or action.

Even personal relationships have been impacted by politics. Marriages between individuals from different religious backgrounds may face resistance from their families due to cultural differences. Sexual orientations are also heavily influenced by societal norms and expectations. LGBTQ+ individuals often struggle to find acceptance within their communities, and some are even persecuted for simply existing. Intimacy is not excluded from this politicalization either. People who engage in consensual sexual activities may be condemned or ostracized if they do not conform to traditional beliefs.

Freedom is becoming an illusion in today's world where everything is politicized. We live under constant surveillance, judgement, and control that limits our ability to make choices without fear of repercussions. The only way forward is for people to stand up against these forces and demand more autonomy over their lives. Until then, we must find ways to navigate through this complex environment while preserving our individuality and dignity.

What is the nature of freedom in a world where existence itself is politicized?

Freedom is something that exists within each individual's mind; it is a state of being free from constraints imposed by external forces. In today's world, however, existence itself has become politicized, meaning that there are often social, economic, political, and cultural factors that can impact an individual's ability to exercise their freedom fully.
