Annual Erotic Art Award
The Lascivia Erotic Arts Magazine sponsors an annual Erotic Art Award to honor exceptional artists who produce erotic work in various media, including photography, writing, and mixed media. The award's purpose is to showcase creative talent and promote excellence within the field of erotic artistry while also assisting its recipients in gaining greater visibility and recognition. This year's competition will be judged by an esteemed panel of industry professionals who have dedicated their careers to exploring, creating, and promoting artistic depictions of sensuality and desire.
The magazine is accepting submissions from all eligible applicants until July 15th, after which time finalists will be selected for review and exhibition. Winners will be announced at the gala awards ceremony on October 20th, where they will receive monetary prizes and opportunities for publicity and promotion through Lascivia. Winning works may be published in subsequent issues of the magazine or displayed in gallery exhibitions across the country.
To apply for consideration, artists must submit their portfolios online using the provided submission form, which includes specific requirements regarding size, format, and medium. Acceptable formats include digital images, PDF files, or links to websites that display the artist's work. Submissions will be accepted exclusively via email. Please note that any submitted material deemed offensive or illegal by our staff will not be considered for the competition.
Artists are encouraged to read through the award criteria carefully before submitting their entries as each category requires different materials based on a range of factors such as technical skill level and artistic style. For example, writers should submit original unpublished manuscripts of erotic fiction between 3-6 pages long in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, while photographers should upload high-resolution digital images taken with professional-grade equipment. Photographers can also send physical prints if desired, but this option is discouraged due to the sheer volume of entries we typically receive. Mixed media artists should submit examples of past projects completed within the last two years that demonstrate their ability to incorporate multiple disciplines into a cohesive narrative or thematic vision. Additionally, all entrants are required to pay an entry fee of $50.
